Hi,

I have not seen any results from the Virtual Olympics yet but I hope those of you who participated had fun.

I did hear that many of you enjoyed the skipping tricks. I am suggesting that you continue to work on improving them as skipping is such a great activity.

Design and complete your own 20 minute workout. Share it with me if you would like and I will complete it too.

Create your own unique TAG game. Perhaps we can play it when school resumes in the fall.

I have posted a chart, 30 Randon Acts of Fun. Give some of them a try.

Take one day this week and email me. Tell me a bit about what you have been doing, your favorite things to do and your favorite activites to play in the gym when we are at school.

Remember, the June DEAM calendar was posted last week and it has many suggested activities for you to try.

Have a great week.

Hi,

How did you do with the leg and plank workouts? I hope you also practiced the jumping jack workout because there is a mixed routine workout for you to try this week There are videos that show you what is expected as you practice the different jumping jacks, planks and leg activities. Give it a try and let me know if you like it.

I am also challenging you to make an obstacle course. It can be for indoor or outdoor use. It can be made for you to do on your bicycle, rollerblades, skateboard etc. or, maybe you have to crabwalk through it. Your choice. Be creative and have fun.

I watched a couple of Coach Pirillo dance videos last week. He has a great selection on youtube. Perform some of his dances and let me know if you have a favorite.

There is also a weekly calendar of activities to work on as well as the May calendar of activites posted last week, Moving with a Purpose. Have a good week.

Hi Everyone,

I hope you have been staying active. With the warmer temperatures and melting snow I am sure you have been outside biking, walking, rollerblading, skipping etc...

I have heard that there is a snowstorm on the way. I would like to challenge you to build one more snowman or snowfort. If you can, take a picture of it and share with us. As always, have permission before going outside and using technology.

Play safe and stay safe,

Mrs. Bowes
