The last day of schoolf for all students in the province will be Friday, June 22 and this will be a half-day of school for all students. More details about when RES' school buses will be departing our school on Friday, June 22nd will be made available in RES' June 2012 Newsletter.

District 16's Go for 42 Event

The Go for 42 program will be taking place in District 16 from May 14th till June 15th. The attached letter serves as the registration form for this event. We are hoping to involve more students than ever this year as the Fun Run will take place on Sunday June 24th just 2 days after school is finished and before families head out on summer vacations.

Rexton Elementary School will be hosting its Walk-A-Thon for the Roots of Empathy program on Tuesday, May 8th at noon recess. This fundraiser has resulted in RES raising over $1100 for the Roots of Empathy program! A sincere thank-you is extend to all who supported our young students in this very important fundraiser.
