WHY? Because Rexton Elementary students/staff are caring world citizens.
This is a fundraiser to support the victims of Japan's earthquake and tsunami.
Extra! Extra! Read all about it - the 2011 District 16 Chess Tournament was held on Saturday, March 26 AND eleven (11) Rexton Elementary students won the right to represent District 16 at the provincial Chess Tournament in Fredericton on April 9th! RES' royal kings & queens are:

Please be advised that due to technical difficulties last week, RES' Progress Reports will be going home with students on Tuesday, March 29th (not Monday, March 28th as was previously announced).
Please find enclosed in your child's Progress Report envelop a RES Bullying Survey for parents and your Parent/Teacher Invitation for our upcoming Parent/Teacher meetings on Thursday, March 31st or Friday, April 1st.
District 16's next Curriculum Implementation Day will be Thursday, March 31st. Rexton Elementary School's 2nd term Parent/Teacher meetings, for the 2010-2011 school year, will be held in the afternoon/evening of Thursday, March 31st and the morning on Friday, April 1st. THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS ON THURSDAY, MARCH 31st or Friday, April 1st.
This year's Teddy Bear Picinic will be held on Friday, April 8th, 2011; RES' current Kindergarten students will not have school on this date. Our 2011-2012 Kindergarten students should receive their Teddy Bear Picnic invitations by Friday, April 1st.
