1J has presented yet another dramatic production! This time we put on a play titled "The Gingerbread Man". The performance you are about to see had 1J and Mrs. Collins' kindergarten class as audience members. Notice how quiet they are! Thank you 1J and KC!

1J has THREE brand new Sparkling Starfish! They are awesome kids who always work hard and follow Ned's advice:

Be sure to check out the 3 part video of the 1J production of Stone Soup! Three young stars from our class worked very hard to put this play together. We performed it for all of the grade one classes and they were terrific!

Three 1J students put on a performance of the book Stone Soup. They worked really hard and did a fabulous job! Way to go!

The kids had a bit of a hard time with the last list - climb especially, so I kept those words up for a while and added three new words to that list last week.

So sorry I hadn't updated that on here. Those three words were included on the list given out at parent teacher.
This week we're starting fresh with four new words:
was
saw
walk
all
Was and saw tend to be difficult words to learn because they have the same letters, just mixed up. We'll be spending some time on those. Also, all is a chunk that I noticed 1J has a difficult time spotting in a larger word when they're trying to solve a word they don't know - for example small. They don't spot the all. We will be focusing on the all word family this week.
