ASD-North will be hosting a French Immersion information meeting at Rexton Elementary School on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 at 6 p.m.
This meeting is intended to provide information about the French Second Language choices that will be available in the 2016-2017 school year for students who are currently in grade 2 and/or for students who are currently in RES' Grade 5 Intensive French program (Mrs. Stoddart's Grade 5 class). This meeting is also open to parents of students who are currently in grades 2 & 5 at Harcourt School.

RES' 2016 School Colors Day will be held this Friday, February 19th. We ask that all students and staff wear blue & white on this date and pay $1; all funds raised from this spirit-building event will be donated to former RES student, Emma Francis, who is currently experiencing vision challenges.
RES' 2016 Family Literacy Day & Dress-Up as a Storybook Character Day were celebrated on Wednesday, January 27th. Thank you so much to the scores of parents/guardians who joined us for literacy activities throughout the week of January 25th-29th! A special thank-you also to RES' Home & School Association for providing us with prizes for our students and our parents on Literacy Day!!
Parents and guardians of Rexton Elementary School students are invited to join their child's class for fun, literacy activites in the afternoon on Wednesday, January 27th from 1:00-1:50 p.m. Our students are invited to dress-up as a storybook character on January 27th (this is optional for the parents)! All parents/guardians who attend this event will have a chance to win door prizes.
Admission: a donation to help us purchase new curtains for our stage would be greatly appreciated.
