Dear RES Parents/Guardians:

New Brunswick's 2016 Heritage Week is February 8th-15th. The theme this year is Leadership & Legacy.

Please find in your child's book bag this afternoon an activity sheet for our Heritage Week celebrations. We ask that you please help your child to complete this activity by selecting a member of your community that has help to make your community the best that it can be! Your child is invited to draw/color a picture of him/herself and the community member (or you could send a photo of your child & the community member and we could make a photocopy of these photos and return them to your child).

We will display your child's completed Heritage Week activity sheet in our school lobby all this month and all children who complete this activity will have a chance to win a Toys R Us gift card (the draw for this prize will be held on Canada's Flag Day, Monday, February 15th).  O Canada our home & native land!!
