There will be a planning meeting for RES' 2014 Tea & Craft Sale on Monday, October 20th @ 7:00 p.m. in RES' library. All interested members of RES' learning community (parents, staff, & community members) are encouraged to attend this meeting ... we sincerely need YOUR help!
RES' Student Council held its annual Crazy Hair Day on Friday, October 17th. Students and staff wore hair styles that were more than a bit crazy ~ they were "fun"tastic!! Our Student Council members will be counting the money raised for this year's event on Monday, October 20th. All funds raised will go towards supporting Student Council projects. A special thank-you to all the parents who helped to make this year's Crrrazy Hair Day event so successful!
RES' 2014 Scholastic Book Fair was a "roaring" success! In fact, this year's Scholastic Book Fair sales surpassed last year's total of $3600 by $500.00!!!! So, Principal Wilson will have to keep her promise to dress-up as a dragon (on Thursday,October 23rd) because our sales did surpassed $3600!!

There will be no school for students on Thursday, October 9th and Friday, October 10th because our teaching staff will be attending Professional Learning Day meetings.
All students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend RES' 2014 OPEN HOUSE which will be held on Thursday, September 18th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The event is a great opportunity to meet your child's teacher, enjoy a tasty ice-cream treat and purhase your RES Home & School membership.
RES needs to elect three PSSC members this September. Our PSSC election will be held during our Open House event this Thursday, Septembe 18th @ 6 p.m. Please read the attached notice regarding RES' PSSC 2014 Election for more details.
