Healthy Learners Team are promoting healthy eating during Nutrition Month.
Bored with the same old
sandwich? Think outside the lunch box! Reinvent dinner leftovers. Read more to
learn about some shortcuts to quick, healthy & delicious lunches… Packing lunch is a healthy and budget-friendly
habit. Keep it interesting! Reinvent tonight’s leftovers into tomorrow’s lunch
with these three tasty ideas:
1. Leftover chicken or turkey + avocado
+ cheese + baby kale + tortilla = scrumptious southwestern wrap.
RES' March 2015 Progress Reports will go home with students on Wednesday, March 25th. Inside the child's Progress Report envelope parents will find their child's appointment time for their Parent/Teacher meeting (which will be held either in the afternoon/evening on Thursday, March 26th or in the morning on Friday, March 27th).

Rexton Elementary School's 2015 Skating Event has been rescheduled for the morning of Friday, February 27th. This event will take place at the Elsipogtog Arena. Students will be bringing home their new permission slip for this event on Thursday, Feb. 26th; we asked that parents return their child's signed permission slip to their child's teacher by Friday, February 27th.
Thursday, February 26th will be RES' 2015 Anti-Bullying PINK SHIRT Day. RES' 2015 Sliding Event will be held on Thursday, February 26th in our school playground during the last period of the day before dismissal.

ASD-North Superintendent Beth Stymiest has informed us that due to the number of snow days this school year, May 8th (which was slated to be a Professional Learning Day) will now be an instructional day for students.
